Tales of Vesperia playthrough thoughts:

I love the abstract explanation of the characters. We're at the Belius fight in the coliseum, and when Sodia shows up it's like "this hoe hates the MC because of the relationship he has with her captain, who grew up with the MC and they're "friends" and is idolised by both of them" and "that's Repede he's a dog" and "that's Raven he's a con artist with an artificial heart" and "that's Estelle, she's the healer and a princess who's power is causing global warming and that's Patty she's a pirate"

What utter nonsense I love it.

Also Yuri Lowell will fucking cut himself to win an argument JESUS I forgot he did that

Can I just say that Flynn's entrance scene in Capua Nor is still just 😙👌🤌

Tales of Vesperia playthrough thoughts:

At Mantaic now and the fact that Yuri is taking the guild thing just as seriously as Karol is just. So fucking cute, they immediately adopted each other as brothers didn't get they.

Then there's Estelle and her indecisiveness about what to do, and the team at large supporting her growth, and Judith and Estelle having a similar relationship as Karol and Yuri but in their own way. Not to mention, the whole scene at the Nordopolica port with Yuri and Estelle is probably one of my favourite scenes in the game. The not so subtle nods to their roles as big brother/little sister. Yuri definitely sees the symbolism (or, will) and is not the kind of guy to take any of this lightly.

Honestly this is one of my favourite stretches of the game.

Honorable mention goes to another fantastic "just going for a walk eh?" Scene between Judith and Yuri. Disaster bisexuals.
