Transformuary - Day 8

Prompt: "Headcanon"

It was a subtle thing, at first.

Vespa would randomly loom over Bumblebee for a few moments, wings buzzing imperceptibly before he’d just as suddenly wander away, leaving the yellow mech to wonder just what that had been about.

Only- Vespa kept doing it.

And Waspinator would look utterly disgusted every time.

“Sari,” Bumblebee said, servos clamped together from where he had them folded beneath his chin. “What does it mean?”

Sari paused her game to look up at him with an amused expression. “Maybe he wants to spend time with you? Sparky does that when he wants to play. Kinda.” She scratched the back of her head with a thoughtful expression. “But Sparky usually gives me a ball…”

Bumblebee hummed with furrowed brows. 

So, Vespa wanted to… play with him? Why didn’t the predacon just ask?

The next time Vespa loomed over him, Bumblebee crossed his arms over his chassis and confidently said, “Alright, let’s play!”

From the way Vespa suddenly straightened up, wings buzzing even louder as he leaned towards him with a purr, it occurred to Bumblebee that maybe, just maybe his partner was trying to ask for a different kind of ‘play.’

Well, Bumblebee wasn’t going to say no to this either.

Will we ever see a TFA fic with Vespa in ao3? I just love that guy so much! Just wondering if you feel like doing a story with him in the future
