Like the Dust That Settles All Around Me

Kasia's outfit is finally done! It was a long and rocky road.

Kasia (ne/nir) is a personification (dragonification) of the desert flora, born from a dried-up oasis.

I feel like it's a mess? I don't know yet, it might be a good, visually intriguing mess, or, well, just a hot mess. But it's done!

If I hadn't used the accent, I would probably have opted for a more brownish vibe, although finding matching apparel would have been difficult because it's Hickory Flecks, not Copper/Bronze/etc.

(Also, uh, side note after having listed what I need: I'm pretty sure that when I checked the skin prices a while ago, this one wasn't listed for several thousand gems. ._. Hm... this is my plan now, though. This is it. I'm sticking with it.)

Looking at the outfit now, I like to imagine it's like seeing it through water or through the haze of a hot day, with light rippling across it and shifting the colors.

On Hills of Long Forgotten Yesterdays

Latton's outfit is done!

Latton (they/she/he, no preference) is a stone-cold high-ranking Earth official responsible for guarding Dragonhome's ancient sites. As such, they have been tasked with keeping watch over and aiding groups* from the clan who are interested in conducting archaeological research. While an accomplished user of Earth magic, as is to be expected from a dragon of Latton's rank, he seems a little more comfortable with and excels at physical combat. Latton can boast the skills necessary to survive in Dragonhome's harshest conditions, making guidance like hers indispensable for anyone seeking to explore the region.

*Specifics pending. Some of the ways the city-states that make up the clan are active in Dragonhome:

an outpost on the Shattered Plain or near the Highland Sanctum, provided by Earth dragons who joined the clan

housing among the Colonnades of Antiquity

joint research efforts in Greatwyrm's Breach

...aaand that's all I can share without giving too much away. :| Latton's story is intertwined with Neoglyph's and Zola's.

One more thing: WE NEED MORE HATS. The hat situation is simply infuriating. Deplorable. /lh

Originating from ancient times, Manteion (it/its) has been suffused with eons of fumes streaming from an oracular opening in Sornieth's crust. Those who gaze at Manteion's skin might think they can catch glimpses of images forming in the shimmering clash of colors, of scenes playing out...

You Sealed Your Fate up a Long Time Ago

Mithra received an outfit plan! (1! Just one! One singular (1) outfit!)

Mithra (he/she) is a Sun-Kissed Prophet, a Light subspecies (more information here). I had more Ideas™ when I bought him, but I haven't been able to develop them yet; the gist of it is that Mithra is lingering from times long gone. She's also genderfluid; fluid between which genders? ...I have yet to determine.

As for the outfit, I could be happier with it, but there just isn't any apparel that fixes the issues I have. Maybe one day, a suitable skin will come along, or I'll grow to like it more; I can never tell right after finishing an outfit.

(Also, please bear with me and my flood of Pearlcatchers. They make up a large portion of the recent additions to my clan, so logically, I happen to have the most ideas for them and try to tackle them first ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Lightning Strikes

Neoglyph's outfit (singular) is done!

As I already mentioned, I made two outfits; initially, I bought Neoglyph hoping to use the Current Caller Raiment, but the results didn't satisfy me and unfortunately, my brain had manifested Neoglyph (as a character) wearing the Brightshine Raiments. I'll try to stick with that choice. Although... hm...

What I'm indecisive about now? Which scene to pick. >.<

Budding lore ahead:

Neoglyph (he/him) has taken on the mantle of archivist, an occupation where being a polyglot and having a knack for memorizing symbols and deciphering come in handy.

In his spare time, he likes to dabble in inventing machinery and technology, and he's skilled at handling (Sornieth's equivalent of) spreadsheets, always seeming to know how to deal with any given situation and where to find the answers that might be needed.

Although he appears extroverted and confident, he can be inscrutable at times, with piercing cyan eyes that appear to cut right through you. He does not speak about his past and his age is difficult to estimate. He is eerily good at predicting things going wrong and sensing impending catastrophes.

To be explored: ...well, all the details, obviously, especially those reliant on over-arching clan lore. And relationships, sooo much potential!

Take a Look Out of the Window

Seheron received an outfit plan!

“but they're so hard to find in my cosmic mind so I think I'll take a look out of the window”

Seheron (it/xe) comes from a long line of seers, but struggles to tap into those powers of clairvoyance. Xe always seems slightly alien in xyr demeanor, in part as a result of xyr specialized upbringing.

I'll likely go with Frostbite Falls, although Summer Sunset is an alluring choice as well:

I could've gone a completely different route with this outfit, but the Lanternlight Trail stuck out to me and I had to build an outfit around it. I genuinely don't know if it's any good or if I like it because my eyes had a vendetta against me (pain) and there was simply too much orange to tell.

I included both Flowerfalls since I couldn't make my mind up. It might be too busy now? Maybe?

No, I shall not be stopped from using the Sunrise and the Sugarspark Halo over and over again. Never.

On the Edge of Twilight Whispering

Maemi's outfit has been planned!

Maemi (zhe/zher) dwells on the shore between the Driftwood Drag and the Sunbeam Ruins. A collector of stories who strives for accuracy, zhe only shares them with those zhe deems worthy, having tested the inquirer with a riddle or game. Maemi keeps her immense knowledge about the Shadow/Light portals equally close to zher chest. Zhe likes to collect trinkets and can't fly.

How Mighty This Earth

Zetocera's outfit has been planned (based on the scry she came with)!

Zetocera (she/her) is (some kind of) tiger goddess (??? I have yet to figure out the exact details, and how to make it fit in with existing lore) residing in the deserts of the Shifting Expanse, in addition to being Tantalite's girlfriend; the two of them met while Tantalite was out chasing storms.

(I'm sorry I don't really have any more lore than I had when I got her; my health has been failing me this week, but I'm glad I managed to treat her to a nice outfit at least. :>)
