On to the Heart of the Sunrise
(Who doesn't have a name yet, because I'm feeling indecisive and don't quite know which naming scheme to use. My clan's cephalopod names? But lore-wise, this dragon didn't grow up here. The one I used for the hatches they descend from? As in, any Ancient Greek or Latin (broadly) abstract word that I like? ...how on Sornieth am I supposed to make my mind up if I have several dictionaries worth of options to choose from?)
I'm getting ahead of myself. This dashing Pearlcatcher happens to be a grandchild of one of my permas, Shuma! Quite a surprise to encounter one of those in the wild. It seems one of my hatches spent some time as a project parent and was then placed on the AH again, bought by this young one's home lair as fodder, bred before being flung at the nearest deity, and had their clutch placed in the hatchery where I found them. ("Oh, what a handsome Pearlcatcher! ...waaaait. I know you...")
Therefore, lore potential!
And I also just think they're neat; they remind me of a sunrise.
I might change the secondary, though; no idea yet if the genes I'm considering will hold up or if I'll end up wanting to keep Seraph, but here are some of them:
