I am a person who has lots of sensible advice for others but often ignore it myself. Of course my impulse yesterday when this ear ringing-dizziness-pressure-low pitched tinnitus came upon my ears was to use drops and hope it went away. It hasn't. My husband has just nagged me into making a doctor's appointment. OK OK done. Nothing like a good ear-bashing so to speak.
