Arbitrary Card of the Day 2-22-17: Vesuvan Doppelganger
Today's arbitrary card of the day is Vesuvan Doppelganger. We don't know much about Vesuva, but the place has been named since Magic's beginning. What we do know is that it's an isle on Dominaria teeming with Shapeshifters. It's probably very confusing to visit.
Regarding the message about a SkyCloneRider Elf. If it was a Vesuvan Doppleganger (cast with WUBRG) would it get 5 counters and by your next upkeep you could pick another creature and keep the 5 counters, right?
Vesuvan Doppelganger costs 3UU, so the biggest you could make it is 4/4 unless there’s a cost increasing effect on the board. Otherwise, though, yes, your answer is correct.
