#vet posting

I got to do a little vet scene with a fox and her owner yesterday. Was very fun going through the examination, pinning her down, keeping her occupied and complacent.

Any creatures need a checkup?~

me, on call with my fiancée, across the room from my computer's mic, cooing and trying to pspspsps our senior dog to bed: cmon baby, I know you're having a hard day but we go to the vet in the morning and then you get your [arthritis] shot and you'll feel better my fiancée: did you just coo at our dog and tell her tomorrow you're taking her to the vet to get shot??...... I know she gave you trouble getting her to bed but that feels EXTREME????

From yesterday!!! They were tiny!!!

One of my appointments today. They were all named after trees and one of them had hind dew claws. They all inexplicably smelled of old bay

Saw a duck named wesley today. She was massive, almost goose sized. She 2as having neurological symptoms but when she got there she was actually in much better condition and was diagnosed with botulinum toxicity and given supportive care. She was gorgeous

one of my fav things about working at a vet clinic is when an animal is obviously named by a child. we had a duck come in today for being attacked by a dog (she actually turned out to be okay, we sent her home with drugs) and her name was You. You the duck
