Olía a parvo

Ayer una señora con su hija llegaron a preguntar que hacerle a un cachorro de 4 meses que presentaba diarrea con mucha sangre.

Lo primero que pensé fue :huele a parvo:. No traían al cachorro pero igual les hice una especie de anamnesis, a lo que respondieron que no tenía ninguna vacuna, suele salir a la calle a jugar con perros de la calle y ni desparasitado estaba el cachorro.

Les plantee mi diagnóstico presuntivo que era parvovirus. Al parecer ya habían pensado ellos que era parvo, y me dicen que con la vacuna se podría curar.

Aguanté bastante el no cachetearlas, pero si les dije que la vacunación es una herramienta preventiva, no curativa.

De todos modos les dije que lo que convenía era internarlo para rescatarlo. Pero no quisieron porque "está juguetón todavía".

Les dije los riesgos, y que incluso si moría tendrían que esperar bastante tiempo para tener otro cachorro... Les valió.

Hoy llegaron a preguntar qué en cuanto está la eutanasia porque el perro ya está muy mal.

Los propietarios se quejan todo el tiempo del precio de las vacunas, cuando realmente el tratar las enfermedades sale aún más caro.

Los odio a todos, FIN.
