Wtf I hurt my hands for helping the echographist yesterday bc she insisted on using the worst syringes possible to drain a pleural effusion and we were PANTING from how much effort you had to do to fill the syringes

Sighs,, I should be happy (and I am!!! Partly) because I finished the year with very good grades and my teacher is happy with me and I already have one and striving for the second place to do practices at, which are really well known and respected clinics/hospitals!!!

But I'm so anxious now because classes have ended and now I have an entire month doing NOTHING and then I'm thrown out in the open to deal with real patients and real clients. I just feel so unprepared, and at the same time I want it to start already just so I can get on with it. I don't know I'm just very anxious.

As soon as I learn to suture well I'm buying a Mathieu, this HURTS ¿¿¿

I'm not sure if I'm holding the needle holder wrong, I think I'm not?? But after 5 minutes my ring finger starts to hurt bad, idk how people do this Dx

Anyway, baby's first knots done on a poor sock I shredded to pieces. It took me a good while to figure out you are supposed to switch directions when throwing them but I finally managed to understand well the proccess i think! I have to learn how to space them and tighten them well...

Hey I totally discontinued doing this as always but doing a small summary of what has been going on these weeks, we've had a bunch of practices more, I'm on top of my class and today we went to a hospital and I assisted in five (5) surgeries I am quite literally clawing my way up the walls from how happy I am!!!!

#i assisted in two neuterings two nodulectomies and one arteodesis #like. WHAT #it was also @ the place i asked to do practices at so i hope they liked me ans grab me #it was abaolutely amazing and chaotic #vetech #dogblr #vetblr #vet tech
