One of the things I've learned about teaching is that it's 51% packaging. Student evals are full of misogynist bullshit comments. So, when you're a middle aged woman, trying to TA for a 3000-level class, your clothing choices might cause a little anxiety. Not me. I wear these and they know I am not there to fuck around.
