On October 23rd, 2025, Nova was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, and it broke my heart. As someone who is also chronically ill and recently lost my job, this situation feels overwhelming. I love Nova and her bondmate Coehler deeply, and I want to do everything I can to improve her quality of life, even though a cure isn’t possible.
Nova is 4 years old and requires daily subcutaneous fluids, along with cystocentesis, urinalysis, and mammalian chemistry tests every few months. These treatments are essential to keep her comfortable and healthy for as long as possible.
If you can, please consider donating to help cover her medical expenses or even sharing this if you can't donate. Every little bit counts and means the world to us. Thank you for your support, and please like, comment, and share this post to help spread the word. Together, we can make a difference for Nova.
I’ve been up for almost 3 hours aggressively researching the cheapest but best stuff to get rid of urine odor and enzymes so my cat won’t pee on the couch anymore. I have $30 left in my account now.
I hope this cat knows how much I love him and am desperately trying to help him and make him feel better.
In total so far we’ve spent about $600? Ish? To get him everything we can to make things easier for him and help him feel better.
Between the vet, internet, and reviews all over the internet, we’ve got no options left.
Setting up a totally different litter box/litter/litter mat today once the boxes come in. Deep cleaning the room the boxes are in and the couch to maybe get rid of the smell. He’s got calming treats and a collar, urinary tract specific food and drops, and a water filter bowl.
He’s finished his antibiotics and pain meds. Dr told us what to look for in case he’s blocked. Going to remove all boxes left from unpacking. And put him away while I do it sense the boxes freak him out.
If in about 24 ish hours after all that he hasn’t started to calm down, taking him back to the vet like she said, which will cost so much more, and have to go on a credit card.

Hey, if y’all could spread some love to Lulu, anything helps! She’s a good girl and she deserves a fighting chance. 🥺 Her family can’t afford to pay for her treatment and even a reblog will go a long way to help this family keep their beloved family member.
My cat Cookie was hit by a car not too long ago. A neighbor found him and contacted my dad. Cookies lower body was hit and it broke my heart to see him struggling to breathe. The estimated surgery for everything if it's the worst case scenario is around 8,000. We are still waiting to see the full scope of his injuries
Please if there is anyone who can help even if it's one dollar PLEASE donate to
paypal.me/kitcat1925 or at my kofi thats on my profile page.
I don't care if the only thing you can do is reblog because that helps immensely.
Moo is a 6 year old cat of indeterminate breed. Moo has had health problems for a long time, but we've been able to manage it and keep stress down for the last several years. In the last week, Moo has started showing signs of neurological symptoms and has refused to eat. The last time I've been...
I hate posting this here, but I am at an absolute loss at what else to do and where else to turn. Moo is extremely sick and needs care ASAP. I'm doing everything I can to help in the meantime, and am still calling vets and charities, but without money or a diagnosis, I'm not getting much of anywhere. Any and all help is appreciated; I just want to get Moo through this.
What’s happened so far
About a week ago, Moo stopped eating. She is mildly dehydrated and has no balance. I can pick her up and set her down on the bed and she'll stumble forward with her ass going up over her head. Falling off of things, tripping over herself. She's fallen off of her cat tower several times and is super wobbly when she walks or even just stands. She doesn't want to jump or be up high. She has been refusing any and all food, and I have tried absolutely everything I can think of. Moo has also been pretty lethargic and just generally not acting like herself.
Because of my limited funds, the vet showed me how to ruin subq fluids on her at home. They said Moo is really sick, but without running blood work, they can't be 100% sure with what. Her theories as of Monday (4/29) are ear infection, brain tumor, or some sort of blood infection. After cleaning her ears, they’ve said they don't think it's an ear infection.
So far I have been treating at home with steroids, subq fluids, and antibiotics. Moo is still refusing to eat and while she seemed to be getting better at first, she has since regressed in her progress and has gone back to stumbling when she walks and poor balance.
