#listened to this song (as I often do) back in november#and then had such a vivid mental image of this that I spent almost 43 hours drawing it over the course of the past 8 months#honestly after a certain point it was less abt drawing vexane and more about drawing for the love of drawing#i rendered things you can't even see in the final image just for the heck of it:#the entirety of vex ; zanes clothes under his armor; the armor you can't see;#there's another hand in the ice that i rendered just bc it looked better to have it there when I looked at just the ice by itself#working on this was just so fucking fun;; and it's one of my favorite compositions ive done so far#like; Vex keeping Zane from looking with just a touch.
