The creature seemed to look at you and paused in thought before rearing up on it’s hind legs and opening its maw. Tough sinew that had once held the jaw shut snapped as the beast opened its mouth for the first time in many years. You could hear a faint rumbling, growing louder by the second- it was the amalgamation’s claws clicking against the catacomb’s cold stone, an eerie green light dully pulsing forth. It was trying to get somewhere- it was trying to get to you.”
