Although it's been over ten years, it felt like it was just yesterday when Val first opened the Blooming Spring Community Garden. Even though she sold it to new owners years ago, Val still enjoyed coming out to it and watching it grow into a staple for the community. Every now and again, she'd get down on her hands and knees and get to work in the garden, helping out wherever they needed. Today was one of those days. She'd just finished weeding out an area and was going to grab some seeds to plant when she came across another looking for something to do. Flashing a bright smile their way, she said, "I could use some help over there. The hard part is done... I just need some help planting."

It's not often that Valerie made her way to this side of the island but she liked to make her rounds with all of Naporia's citizens; even the shadier ones. She had stopped by a few businesses in the bay and was making her way over to Jaded Sage, one of the newer shops on the island, when she spotted a familiar face. It was nice to see a local among all of the new faces showing up on the island. "Hi Miss Kamealoha," she said, waving as she walked up to her. "How are things lately?" @myhcneybees

Valerie smiled when she saw the familiar face at the bakery. It was nice to see someone she recognized in this sea of new faces that she'd been running into lately. "Mr. Flint," she said as she joined him in line. "How are you? I feel like we haven't crossed paths in awhile." @bcttcrthanrcvcnge
