⤿ starting the last week of october and going into the first week of november port james leans into something more frightening: the halloween fright weeks. two weeks of pure sugar-induced terror. while child families may travel to some of the more suburban areas for trick or treating, adults indulge in the many other activities . . .

on victoria island, the fright night gets set up. a large scale multiple night halloween event appears almost overnight. actors dressed as the most terrifying thing your heart can imagine, haunted houses, scare zones, small market stalls and more is found within the premises. it's perfect for those who wish to get a scare in.

the port james ghost tour has been around for well over 20 years at this point, established by corrine and orlando miller to show off the historical side of port james that never seems to want to leave. the tour is active all years around however around halloween extra locations get added, and the millers get exclusive access inside many of the haunted locations for night-time tours. if you're lucky you may even get to do some ghost hunting.

if you love a good photo-op, this is the place for you. carved into hundreds of pumpkins are stars and moons, which are then hung in a tunnel in orange and blue lights. it's an absolutely must-go spot for couples.

most, look forward to the halloween bash. ran in a different night club each year the event is something people prepare to attend for months. picking the perfect costume, and if they're lucky maybe they'll meet a real monster ‒ then again maybe that would make them unlucky? either way, there's a new dj every year promising one hell of a party you don't want to miss.
