Aloka…
Walking love .

Corva gingerly took the armor from Andre. She could hardly believe she got it back.
They were giving her her armor? Her armor, which held enchantments and weapons aplenty?
Her armor, which someone had... repaired?
The metal was flawed, seams running through it where it must have been torn open to remove it from her. Someone had taken the time and energy to put it back together, when it would have been so easy to say it was nothing more than scrap to be disposed of.
"I... don't understand," she said quietly.
"You are safe here. I thought this was the best way to help you understand that..."

Another ref! This is the reference for Aloka, and their Shade form! I absolutely went full dragon for Shade. Aloka’s mane is very soft, but does have guardhairs allowing it to bristle up a bit if they’re nervous, excited, or angry. Even with a new ref and an updated design... Aloka is an absolute dork!
"Great." Aloka forced a smile
"We'll go after breakfast," he replied grabbing a plate for himself
"Works for me,"
"I'll be nice to show you around town," he smiled at Corva
Corva smiled back at Andre, but she didn't miss the palpable mistrust coming off Aloka that belied her smile.
This was going to be a stressful outing.
She dug into her breakfast with renewed vigor. It's always best to fortify oneself before a battle. This might not be a literal fight, but it would be a battle nonetheless.
Aloka's mistrust didn't matter, she reminded herself. What mattered was Andre's safety. And she would ensure that.
