Descriptive Adjectives Notes
Listen up, Me, you dumb possibly ADHD bitch. I know you’re on tumblr when you should be paying attention in Spanish but instead you’re here, well jokes on you/me, here’s Spanish brought to your tumblr! For all your cheating in class needs.
If anyone happens to see this I’m just paraphrasing the video lessons from my Spanish class.
So, descriptive pronouns:
Describe people places and things
Ser: nationality, size, color, shape, personality, appearances
Descriptive adjectives usually come after the noun, adjectives of quantity usually come before
Grande, bueno and malo are special bc they can come either before or after. When coming before a masculine noun they are shortened and drop the o. When grande is in front of a singular noun it drops the e and means great.
Change form with gender or singularity/pluritalty
Singular masculine/feminine: e
Plural masculine/feminine: es
Singular masculine/feminine: l
Plural masculine/feminine: les
For adjectives that end in a consonants, the adjective is made plural with -es.
Joven*: young *accent when plural on é
Trabajador(a): hard-working
Mucho/a: much, many, a lot of
Adjectives of nationality (not capitalized)
Costarricanese: Costa Rican
Ecuatoriano/a: Ecuadorian
Estadounidense: from the U.S.
Francés, francesa: French
Japonés, japonesa: Japanese
Norteamericano/a: North American
Puertorriqueño/a: Puerto Rican
