The BG3 Headcanons No-one Asked For

Before we start this one, a warning - this is going to be based on all sorts of silly stereotypes, so if you think you'll get offended easily, steer clear. This is just for fun, nothing to take seriously. None of this is meant in a meanspirited way. It's just humor. Probably in poor taste and stupid, but just silliness.

Why? Because we're going to talk about the companions' real world nationalities. No, this has nothing to do with the accents (most of the time), the actors' actual nationalities or what their Forgotten Realms homeland is supposed to be based on. This is pure crack. Buckle up!

Astarion 🇨🇵

Sorry, but if someone has to be French, it's Astarion and you know it. He's better than you - and everybody else, for that matter.

He's also classy, a good lover (not by choice, unfortunately, but he's certainly skilled) and enjoys luxury. He's the only companion known to wear perfume and has an elegant taste for fashion.

People love making jokes about the French eating frogs, and Astarion gets a lot of jokes about eating rats, so...
