i think it could work. like. they obviously still care about eachother even after everything that happened and all of their personal issues. and tbh a reconciliation between them probably would help them Both work through all that stuff because even by the end of the story i dont think either of them are like. coping well with anything. i would’ve liked to have seen it in the book but that’d probably have to change up the present timeline pretty considerably Or happen post guanyin temple and either be bonus chapter based or just make the book longer overall.
