Got a new VCR?!
My dad and I have talked about this for years and he finally picked one up from somebody. It’s a bit old and beat up (vibrates like crazy unless you put a little pressure on the top), but it’s amazing to look back at our old VHS tape collection. We recorded a lot of stuff. Me in particular, was a habit as a kid of recording things.
Best of all? Discovering gems. Casshan: Robot Hunter from Saturday Anime on Sci-Fi Channel (pre-SYFY rebranding) and seeing old commercials, realizing this OVA was way better than I remember, and getting those tasty flashbacks thanks to the Sci-Fi Channel bumpers.
So good. ^_^
