Now that I’ve formed more nuanced opinions on a lot of media and their relation to my personal journey as a woman, Steven Universe the show doesn’t mean quite as much to me anymore, and it and its crew faced insurmountable odds that helped cripple it towards the end of the original run, but I can never deny the impact it had on helping set me on the right foot to uncovering my true emotional palate. I was there in 2015 swept up by the show’s sudden explosion of success like so many of you.
Thank you all for being there as an outlet and audience for my weird joke video vent art when I was still a very sad teenage egg struggling with self-hatred and su***al ideation.

I know this blog isn’t exactly the busy factory it used to be, but I just wanna thank everyone who’s stuck around over the years. It means a great deal to me that so many people enjoy what I post. Thank you all.
A reminder that I use real VHS recordings for all of my content. It’s quite literally the most authentic way to do it, and it takes time, since everything is also recorded in every step after the DVD rendering/authoring in real time.
