Vander makes Vi believe that whatever happened is on her. So Vi suffers and her guilt is so deep and destructive, believing that she turned Jinx into a monster and that what happened to Caitlyn's mother and to Piltover is her fault, she wants to prevent more ppl from getting hurt, and she feels she needs to go after Jinx, and she even believes that the war that will happen to Zaun is her fault.
So she tries to make things right as much as possible in a way that she believes is right. Like Christian Linke said here👇
But unfortunately she will fail for some reason and will become a Pit fighter.
To anyone who says or will say that Caitlyn has no right to kill Jinx or do what she's doing, well even Jinx doesn't have the right to kill the council after they voted for peace and cause suffering to the people, and cause war between the two cities.
I mean if you accept Jinx's actions and what she does, and justify her actions I think you should do the same for Cait too, cause Jinx isn't the only character suffering on the show.
Update:
Guys, please be careful before reading the comments section of this post because there are spoilers for season 2.
Someone is mad for no reason and is talking about the events of season 2, and not only that, but he is justifying Jinx's actions and saying that Caitlyn has no right to do what she is doing and that she is a villain. Anyway, he or she or whatever an idiot and did not consider that there are people who do not want to see or know about the leaks.
Btw I deleted his comment "cause he/she was so annoying I couldn't control my nerves" but there are still spoilers so be careful when reading the comments section.

The events of her logs occurred from 1 year after Episode 3 to just during Episode 4.
You guys need to read this!!
I think a lot of people don't know this short story [The Council Archives] by Ty Sheedlo.
In short, the story talks about Vi's suffering in prison and how she was suffering there and that she tried to escape in order to return to her sister, and she was even interrogating the prisoners there who were working with Silco and she was fighting them in order to get information about Powder / Jinx
This is another proof that Vi loves her sister and that Vi never abandoned her, and she was thinking about Powder/Jinx while she was in prison.
I also read that Vi's psychological state deteriorated there, even the enforcers said that she was mentally ill and we see no hope of rehabilitating her.
And if Vi knew that there was a prisoner who was working with Silco, she would kill him.
Another thing that caught my attention is how Vi was able to draw her tattoo herself as mentioned here👇
Another thing I loved reading was the description of one of Vi's fights in prison and how she beat up two bigger prisoners with gym equipment. (I think her age here was between 17 and 19 or 20 I think) But that's cool, a teenage girl was able to take down two grown men with ease using the fighting skills that Vander taught her.
I really wish they would do a flashback of Vi in prison. I know it will break my heart, but I want to see her struggle and perseverance to get back to her sister one day.
Also, at least the people who blame Vi for everything should sympathize with her and know that Vi has suffered just like Jinx or maybe worse.
