hello hello!! i am absolutely loving your ‘last of the summer sun’ fanfic n reading i feel a bit lost of what rose n remus are doing in the req room?

for sure! so the details are mostly in part 1 and i don't think i explained much in the summary, sorry haha, but chapter 31 is when they start the rr enterprise thing.

basically they have this idea to make money by growing pot, which they can buy from nocturn because it's used in potions. then they're like hey, wouldn't it be cool if we could experiment and grow different strains, like potions but for pot. eg love potions etc, but you smoke it. so they use the req. room as an apothecary/garden. they call each strain after book characters, bc they're nerds haha, that's in chapter 48.

i think in the summary i only mention the eurydice strain, which is like an amphetamine stimulant (often used to treat ADHD), with some calming effects. however, like with meds, the strains have side-effects and long-term use consequences. some from eurydice is heart palpitations, dependancy, insomnia, paranoia, things like that. basically it's a magical drug; like with normal meds it's bad when taken in huge quantities. anyway that's the one james uses to overdose. because he asks pete not to tell, remus doesn't know james used an rr in his attempt, and so the eurydice strain will be continued; rr warn on the packaging that it's not to be taken in large quantities. ANYWAY that's a whole other thing.
