Finally finished 10 scenes of LTGW. It's going slower than expected, but I think it's beginning to find it's footing and shape. As I write I'm becoming less afraid to write difficult situations and imagery-- less afraid to dig deeper into who I am.
I told myself that if it takes 10 years to finish this novel, it's okay. It deserves to take it's time. In the meantime, I'll prepare some NaNoWriMo novels so I finish other works.
Now, I've set up Psyche's story, and I'm moving into Eros (which I'm very excited to do!) I've waited months to write his part of the story, and his narrative tone will be a great foil/contrast. I'll continue continuing, that is for certain
in too deep, i'm writing prose and poetry while listening to the pieces i'm playing now
Cooking up a review for a book that I just finished... There's like a lot to say about this book, and so much I haven't completely processed?
It's weird, I enjoyed the Swans of Fifth Avenue, but I could never properly connect with it. Something to think about while I write my thoughts out I suppose.
