it’s playing in the car and it’s turned way down i’d expect but just

when she crosses the barrier oh dear the hug lamb it’s not even a hug it’s an embrace and it must go on for ages and they’ve talked since she’s been away and probably skyped but it is so nice to be able to hoLD him lamb like actually so nice and oh christ she’s crying a bit again and she’s sniffling and she’s saying sorry and it’s sorry for leaving and sorry for leaving you and sorry for getting your shoulder wet and sorry for making you come and pick me up i know it’s late i’m sorry

she was serious about those biscuits she promised okay they just need to stop at the shops

and oh dear would it be okay if she stayed with him tonight and would it be okay if he didn’t tell the others just yet and could they both sleep in the bed and could they wait to talk about the others until the morning but just first just tell her okay she just wants to know if he’s okay and if they’re okay and do they hate her todd please be honest please just let her know if they do she just wants to be prepared

roxanne is a town song and it’s a pre drinks song and fckn ollie likes to play the roxanne drinking game where one person drinks on ‘roxanne’ and one person drinks on ‘red light’ and tbh it’s not a very fair game because ‘roxanne’ shows up a lot more than ‘red light’ i’m p sure but regardless they play and oh christ when they do you know it’s going to be a messy night once the puppies are unleashed on the town

it may be ollie’s favourite game but he’s terrible at it and he can barely get through ‘red light’ but idk i think charmaine’s quite good at ‘roxanne’ and ollie gives her a hard time about it and he just doesn’t gET IT lamb like how can aNYONE do ‘roxanne’ without wanting to be sick how

in the meantime ollie will be responsible for charmaine for the evening because once she’s had a few drinks out as well lita is not going to be able to walk her to the takeaway on her own ollie this is your fault you encouraged her and now she’s tipping over sideways

ugh but fckn ollie does her one better and he’s told lita to help charmaine onto his back and he’ll piggyback her to the takeaway but lita make sure her skirt hasn’t ridden up and he’ll hold her there while they wait for the taxi because she’s fallen asleep on his back and oh gosh just making new friends at the takeaway with charmaine passed out on his back oh my god ollIE

the fact that grew up at midnight is even on the list is a v v v big deal because that song is v special to me but it is so thEM and i tried to write about one moment but the song isn't just one moment for them it is the whole thing it is the puppies it is everything and i think between this and heartbeats i may need to take a breather wow

a-punk is ridiculous the puppies are ridiculous where did they even leaRN these dance moves oh my god

that is literally it that is literally all i have to say about a-punk the puppies have taken over the dance floor and they are bobbing and jumping and look out ollie you are going to take someone out with those wiggly arms

lita has a tendency to wake up early when she stays over at other peoples’ houses and idk i have a lot of feelings about her and hugo being the first ones up in the morning and going upstairs and sitting on the steps to the porch in the back garden and just talking about things while they watch the fog slide away over the tops of the houses and lita asks how jordi is and how things are going and maybe she asks the harder questions too and maybe over time she starts spending less time laying on ringo’s duvet and more time sitting on the steps with hugo and she’s come out of her little hardbeck bubble and she has the puppies and she has hugo and i imagine he’s a bit better at answering the hard questions than ringo was and maybe she feels like she can ask hugo things that she maybe wasn’t as comfortable asking ringo and i don’t know that she lays herself completely bare because it’s lita and hugo is one of her best friends but he is not the person for that sort of full disclosure and he knows some secrets but not all of them no not all of them and that’s okay and she quite likes that about their relationship and i think i do too

i don’t know which of them requested it but tbh they alL probably did at some point and oh gosh their faces when it starts to play oh my god

they may be actually yeLLING the lyrics at each other and ties have been loosened and jackets abandoned in preparation for the dancing and ollie and hugo have started some sort of fast tempoed waltz for a bit of the song and the girls are laughing and spinning todd and oh my goodness i cannot talk about this anymore this is literally 2% of the magic but i cannot i am just
