"You remind me of a person I once knew, but more fancily-dressed. May I have your name?"
Perfectly Rational Ailurophobia
Mogekos had a special sense of smell. It was an odd ability. But it was fearsome none the less. It was said that no matter where in the endless space that was Mogeko Castle, a Mogeko could sniff out a highschol girl in seconds. The stats are not in on middleschool girls to compare unfortunately. The smell was not limited to people however, as certain emotions left a scent as well. In some cases, so did experiences. And of course, being stronger than any Mogeko, Moge-ko's sence of smell was even more superior. So when she caught a whiff that seemed to be entertaining, she followed it.
To her disappointment however, the trail just led to an old guy. Moge-ko would play with anyone of course, but she much preferred highschool girls. But the shifty eyes that he had, observing every detail, oooh this one had been through something fun! Those were the eyes people who lasted a while in the castle had.
So with a hope of the man being a fun one, Moge-ko followed him. Constantly. Around turns, across streets. It was not even subtly. She didn't hide behind anything, she didn't move in crowds, she walked plainly in the open. What would happen when he eventually decided to act? She couldn't wait~~~

He wasn't even free running when it happened. Just simply walking down the street like any normal person would. It wasn't a strenuous activity and yet...
"Agh, my back!"
He really was getting old, wasn't he?
