I try to limit myself to one post a day regarding Tomodachi Life, but my goodness SAZANTOS ATTENDED ANOTHER FAN MEETUP FOR HIMSELF! And it was even more ridiculous than the last one!!!!!
I literally added more people to my lingo since the last one and it still happened again! These goofballs can somehow recognize Sazantos on another island but not right in front of their own faces!!!
This one is older, but he is literally cooking. There was a chef's coat available in the store yesterday so I got him a matching coat. Now he can alternate between chef hat/fan shirt & fan hat/chef shirt!
At this rate I can't share every funny screenshot I've ever taken, so here's the rundown of some recent Squirts highlights. Some pictures and a drawing below the cut (please look at them! It took me a while to take photos of all of them.)!
For the third time Agnea fell in love with someone she just met (Stia) but I told her she was still in love with Hikari.
Hikari is now crushing on Agnea too, an unexpected development!
Rondo is in love with Ludo. He's single now since he broke up with Alexia this weekend. We'll see how this situation goes.
Cyrus moved in with the Silly Billies (Rondo & Ochette) while Hikari moved in with The Bards (Goodwin & Therion)
I made Miis for Ashlan, Partitio, Stia, and Miles.
I've taken so long to finish Xerc's keeper pet (figuring out which color is which on the sprite is so tedious) that Alaune made a whole book about him 😂. Sorry Pike! I'll finish soon.
Therion had a whole safari fantasy while on the bouncy playground ride. He was in a hippo's mouth too. I was not expecting that one.
Everyone is very enamored with Cyrus's pet eastern quoll. I only gave it to him because he begged me for a pet!
Alexia has decided that her new goal is to make a giant Flamebringer's ring (perhaps to atone for the time she lost the Sacred Flame in the ocean?). Viator and Xerc had... interesting ideas for the ring. They REALLY need to get married already!
Viator loves his makeup box, so it's now my go-to lingo to help him make friends. It's already worked on Cyrus and Alexia (how were Viator and Alexia not friends yet they literally live together!)! I have an idea for a related doodle scenario as well, but that will need to wait.
Finally you have all the context for this sidebar I drew today! I thought it'd be funny to do it as one really long photo. My phone literally wouldn't let me make it any narrower.
I was in the mood to draw Viator today so here is my best attempt. I like him a lot, but his outfit absolutely baffles me. Plus I have a curse where my best doodles always end up on paper I can't color on (it's the back of a calendar sheet, kinda waxy, so any attempt at erasing will screw with the pen). If I get desperate I'll pull out the tracing paper. Despite the frustration of that, I really do like the way this came out.
I want to share some doodles I did last week while I was away, along with the screenshots that inspired them!
For some reason, this little interaction between Nivelle and Viator really amused me. I like to give my scholars laptops to appear very studious!
The first screenshot of Hikari following Tiziano inspired me to deem these two the denizens of safety: Tiziano and crossing guard and Hikari the firefighter! The really funny thing is that the firefighter outfit showed up in the clothing store the day after I drew this, so Hikari finally has the complete look!
Finally is Bella and Rondo playing with Rondo's dog (Her name is Sunny!). It was so wholesome I had to draw it. I tried my best on Sunny since I can't really draw dogs and also did it without a reference.
I can't believe it's been a whole week since my last update! I sifted through a lot of silly screenshots to pick the best ones! I also hit 35 Miis finally so I am overhauling and redecorating my island! It's a total mess right now though. Also 4th image row has CotC & OT0 spoilers; to avoid them, skip straight from the throne image to the beach image.
Here's the update on crushes! The Rondo thing is so funny; I had my game open checking around on crushes to write this up (there's so many I can't remember them all...), and I go zoom in on Rondo, Sazantos, and Bella hanging out by the bonfire in the park (so wholesome!) and Rondo fell in love with Saz! Sorry Alfyn!
There have been two marriages: Agnea/Hikari (yay!) and Alaune/Ludo (less yay). I was maybe hoping Goodwin or another member of the Bards would sing at the wedding (there are 7 now!), but Xerc sang at his second wedding. Hikari wears a firefighter's hat so seeing his hair for the first time in at least a week scared me a little ngl. Richard is now in my game too! Alaune asked me to take a photo so I thought it'd be so hilarious to draw Richard bamboozled by his OT0/CotC love being married to Ludo! Plus all three live together now which is super funny!
I put the throne in Best Couples + Flameguards' front yard because they're my favorites and then Lemaire had a fantasy about being the queen of Squirts. I could kind of see her doing that though.
Chefzantos now has a cooking show! Also, this second one was both sad and funny. It was the first and only time I've seen a Mii say it as well. Poor Sazantos. How exactly does he plan to do that?
This one was just super funny (the other Mii is Nivelle btw). I'd be scared if Gonska were chasing me in my dreams!
Last one! I've gotten everything from the wishing fountain, so I just send Miis on vacation all the time, and I love it when the whole household gets to go! I want to draw a collection of doodles of Best Couples + Flameguards on vacation together! These are some super rough doodles of that idea from the other day. I'd of course add some Phenn/Bella because even if I don't post about them as much right now I think about them all the time 😊🥹. Plus I am gathering good physical affection references so I can draw them being cute properly! I have lots of other stuff in the works in the meantime.
@toxiccoswynaut I saw the Viator in question on your Toyhouse and oh my gosh he looks so pretty!!! The sparkles and the pink outline and his hair! It's so bright and the shape is wonderful (I should brighten up his hair color when I draw him again)! Plus the description amused me. I knew I had a doodle with that exact caption somewhere so I dug around and found that and a few other older doodles of him that I like. There aren't a ton though because his design obviously isn't conducive to casual reference-free sketching (really I just like the scarf 😋).
A lot has happened since last time! First I made Miis for Laurana and Tressa. I think my next set will by Alfyn and Athessa.
Because there is way too much to describe via typing. I feel a little bad for sowing romantic chaos (I could've let Alaune stay crushing on Alexia and everyone could've been neatly paired up) but the Ludo love triangle is so entertaining that I had to reestablish it when given the chance. I CANNOT believe that Goodwin said yes when Tressa asked him out. Their vibes do kinda match but I don't know if I like them together.
Three different households merged on Saturday so I now have a very fun eight-person household! Again with the sticky note because it'd take me a while to type out all the details.
Saz is off the rails today (he told me my nose looks like Gordon Ramsay's?!?! And he told Tiziano that he looked like Sazantos). I kinda now want to draw him doing this to Rondo ngl. It'd be so funny. I also really have no idea who'd do that to Sazantos because he's absolutely never let that happen.
Game-accurate Ludo lol (didn't realize he was blinking). He had a romance dream that he and Rondo were frolicking on the beach.
This one is funny for many reasons. I woke up to Viator and Rondo fighting (those two of all people shocked me. Mild-mannered, polite Viator and kind, sunny Rondo? Seriously?!?!). Rondo wanted to make up and then Viator said no so Rondo was mopey. I gave him a sheep costume and then antique boots to try to make him happy again and that's how he ended up in the ridiculous attire of a sheep hat, a tank top, boxer shorts, and boots. I sent his best friend Ochette to cheer him up thrice to no success (she was right on with this line, hence the screenshot). Then Viator wanted to make up all of a sudden, so the two of them are buddies again!
I literally have so many ideas for things I want to draw but I'm super busy for the next week. Maybe I'll be able to draw a few ideas. Plus I have more Bella and Bella/Phenn doodles I want to share soon.
Tomodachi Life 5/7: HUGE updates in the romance department!
So today was quite a day on Squirts! Therion confessed his love to Alexia, but then Cyrus showed up (unexpected), and then Goodwin (VERY unexpected) showed up! She turned them all down! I was laughing so hard that I was tearing up! 😂 And then Therion wanted to try asking her out again and I had to tell him no.
It finally happened!!! Viator proposed to Xerc! They had a beautiful wedding with all their buddies (Bella, Ochette, Rondo, Sazantos, Alexia, and Phenn as the singer) and then went on a Western European honeymoon! All my hard work was worth it! They are adorable!!!!!!
Plus I decided to rename the household. Scholar Squad + Viator is now Second Best Couple + Alexia (because Bella and Phenn are my favorite couple of course). It is now Alexia's turn to be the third wheel in her own house. Maybe she can end up with Alaune.
Only issue there is that Alaune quite likes Ludo. She wanted to confess to him, but I told her she should be friends with him first (I want Alaune and Rondo to kind of be equal friends with him so the 'winner' of a potential double confession will be a surprise). I made them talk about a certain phrase from a certain tyrant...
Ludo's on the money with that one! I just love Pardis III's delivery of that line in OT0 so much that I say it a lot for fun and had to put it in the game! The Ludo love triangle lives on another day.
