You guys, you guys, go check out Sarah. She doesn't run a body blog or anything, but she's really great, and wonderful, and I love her dearly and stuff. And when I think about her I get extremely giddy and I act like a little kid on Christmas.
(this has been a psa)
Sarah: Let's be friends forever Me: I thought that was already the plan Sarah: Let's do somersaults Me: I really don't see how those two are related but ok

Yes.
Today is my very special friend, Sarah's, seventeenth birthday. As a sidenote, I hate that there is no grammatically correct way to convey a possessive while that possessive is acting as an appositive. But hey, what can be done?
Sarah and I have known each other for almost ten years. We met at a camp we both disliked the summer after the first grade, but we weren't really friends until the seventh grade, when we were finally in the same class at the same school. Like any friends, we had some rough patches, but what is important to me is that we got out of it just as maturely as we had immaturely gotten into it.
Now I am thrilled to call Sarah one of my closest, longest-lasting friends. I trust her with so much. She has stuck with me through thick and thin, and I can only hope she thinks I have done the same for her.
Happy freaking birthday, Sarah. I hope you've been having a spectacular day.
Happy birthday, love. You mean the world to me, and I hope your seventeenth is the best one yet. See you later for cupcake baking and our annual tickle fight.
