In the early 1980s, Albin Matthews worked as a muscleman for a political party in Kerala, India. He killed and extorted many people - violence was his solution to everything in life. Eventually, Albin was arrested for his crimes and spent twelve years in jail. During his time in jail, he reconnected with his Christian faith and left his life of violence behind. After he was released from prison, Albin started a care home for the destitute and mentally challenged.
