The Mask Rebirth drawings part 1 possibly.

In order.

Owen Heffernan - Big Head.

Loki - The God Of Mischief.

Dorian Nunzio Tyrell - Big Bad Wolf. 

Stanley Ipkiss - Serpent Man.

Vicky Pratt - Davida Steelmine.

Roxanne Dearing - Bombshell.

I’d recommend checking what I have to say under the keep reading option. This will be my final update on this. I also recall I have thought of posting these drawings again. But as they’re own with possibly character bios possibly in the future. Despite The Mask Rebirth is still in development basically.

I’m getting distracted from posting this. 

Originally I was also gonna draw Stanley Big Head and Skillit in these as well. And I added Walter in the list later. But I decided to just keep it at six characters to I guess not stress myself out and not stay up too late. And besides, Stanley Big Head looks very identical to his first appearance in Mayhem Issue #1. That’s the look I was gonna go for.

I will admit, I do think these could be better. Or it’s mainly the last two with Davida and Bombshell. I’m just being critical with myself because I don’t consider myself that skilled. In a way, I’m mostly a cartoonist if folks don’t mind me saying that, I’m not some skilled comic book artist.

But with Davida, it’s because I tried coming up with a design that wasn’t a rip off. And it’s her reimagined as a character or so. So her main look isn’t her original one. Yet it is one of her looks during her performances. I didn’t wanna make her look like Shego 2.0 lol. I tried to honor her original magician look in some ways. Considering this is her, “Thief/villain” look. 

Also funny trivia, I had forgot to color her skin. But when I tried doing that, I felt like it was best to just leave it. Because I’m liking this idea that with her mask(Which is a whole other topic), she and Hel try to make her skin look possibly paler so in case no body could recognize her at first.

With Bombshell, I don’t have anything huge planned for her. She sadly doesn’t have a lot of exposure and I wanted to pay respect to her original look. Since this is in a sense a more modern look I guess for her lol. Hell, even her comics appearance from what I know aren’t shown a lot.

Because of some other Mask fan using her for their ideas. And my liking towards the concept of a villainess that basically seduces men and weaponizes love. I may not yet have anything serious planned with her. But I did just think that maybe it’s nice to have another human villain that isn’t a brute or completely vicious like an animal. Especially in this world, Davida is basically THE female villain in a sense. And I think I wanna see more of Heed despite what’s been shown of her lol. Bombshell strangely fits the weird world of The Mask.

Honestly, my favorites among these drawings are Owen Big Head, Big Bad Wolf Dorian, and despite whatever feelings I have towards my Serpent Man drawing. I got his silly nature perfect. XD

I question if later designs will change. And I question if I’ll draw the ones that don’t really have powers or masks. I’ll say their reasons.

Leonor Brandt: Who basically looks like Daniela Melchior.

Anna Heffernan: Who I’ve been thinking looks similar to Villainous’ Penumbra. 

Tina Carlyle/Kathy Matthews: I may, her design is like a weird mix of Verosika Mayday and Hex Girl Thorn possibly.

Kellaway and Lionel: Similar to their comic appearances. But I usually think of Kellaway in his animated form.

Peggy Brandt: Basically her animated form. But more older like late 40′s possibly like Anna.

I also did think of drawing Owen possibly. Stanley is an interesting one. Because I think of his animated look...it depends. I’ve taken way too long on this. I hope you guys like these drawings. XD Also, just found out I could put the title lol.

Hours ago, despite I have wondered I think of how it would work. I was thinking of how Davida/Vicky and Hel interact. But while it’s similar, it’s different to how Owen and Loki interact. Okay, got distracted.

The idea is while Vicky is wearing her mask. Which she uses to shapeshift to make her face look like she is still when it’s needed. Think of Hugo when he had it in The Mask Strikes Back.

Compared to Owen and Loki, who’s bond is still fresh and new. Where it would be Loki talking from the mask to Owen’s head, or even to him when he’s wearing it when they are Big Head. And I recall my ideas of Loki appearing in reflections at times.

Hel makes it look so easy and doesn’t just appear in reflections at times. But she manifests herself in a sense to make it look like she’s actually there talking to Vicky. But she’s not really there. Kind of like her being an imaginary friend. But Hel is making herself look there, interacting with objects, or sitting in a chair. When she’s really not. And Davida needs to be careful where she does this. Or else she’ll look crazy. But most of the time, it’s fine.

And I just wanna write this.

*When Davida/Vicky goes out to walk, she decides to entertain a bunch of city people by doing  some of neat magic tricks like David Blaine would. She then leaves with her audience entertained. And near some windows as she walking near a building. Hel just appears as her reflection*

Hel: Wow...what a bunch of easily entertained idiots.

Davida: Yeah, they are. But hey, gonna keep up that good image you know? 

Hel: Yeah, that makes sense. I still prefer that one act where you escaped that tank with piranhas real easily. Oh, better one, that one time you trapped yourself with a bunch of alligators, but not a single bite on you.

Davida: Ha! Yeah, I love those more morbid ones.

I tried to be strangely unique with those other magic tricks instead of ripping off some lol.

The Mask Rebirth Drawings Part 2

In order.

Vicky Pratt - Davida Steelmine.

Hel - The Goddess Of Death.

Walter - The Edge City Brute.

Skillit - Prince Of The Shadowland.

Septimus Pretorius - The Mad Sorcerer Of Shadowland.

Took some hours, but I finally did it. And I decided to just keep it at these five and not draw Stanley or Owen like I talked about. Or Pretorius’s other form, which I tried, but decided I won’t. I just wanted to get these done early.

Okay, while Hel’s design looks similar to a character that inspired this version. I didn’t wanna make things too detailed. And I was just wanted to not do more of that work. Anyway, I’m glad I changed Davida’s design. I purposely made her skin pale white or something to showcase she’s wearing her mask and all that. And honestly, it kind of makes sense with Hel being the goddess of the underworld and death.

Also, glad I finally drew Walter. XD And yeah, Skillit’s color scheme with his clothing is weird at first. So I changed to lighter green. 

I also wanna say, I purposely drew Pretorius as calm. :) That’s the point I was trying to get...his design seemed tricky.
