Not necessarily! JLC is 27 right now, so Capaldi is only 28 years older than her. I mean, that's still twice her age, but she's closer to being a daughter than a granddaughter, at least. And I've definitely seen real-life romances with that wide of an age-spread, so I don't think a relationship between them should be ruled out just yet.
