That’s what they get when they come back to the apartment, arguing while Vic’s trying to nap.
He’s thinking of the anatomy of demon tails, how they move and how strong they must be to hold themselves up when most of them seem to be rather thin- the scientist zoned out while pouring his coffee, the cups over flowing- Victor snap out of it.

Yes, I remember her, but only just barely - she was naught more than a fleck of dirt on the tapestry of Burns's existence.
What do I think of her? I think she was unworthy. Self-serving. Dim-sighted. She did not deserve my Lord's time.
Still, he gave it - and that serves not as proof of her influence but as proof of His capacity for Love.
What fool would release him? Who of sound mind would choose to flee after having been graced by His presence?
