Ahadi had been born to a stray lioness, and he in turn captured when they strayed too close to the forest. He was trained and pitted against beasts in battle for the amusement of humans, contained and controlled by magic. Ahadi was experimented on via magic providing a more powerful and larger lion, immune to pain and completely controlled by his owners. However, the magic effected the lion in ways his captors didn’t expect. Along with power, Ahadi was given wisdom, able to bypass pure instinct. With a human-like mind, Ahadi was able to outwit his captors, and escape the forest.
In lands far outside the boundaries of the enchanted forest, human and magic contact was non-existent, was overrun by a pride of lions. They were simple beasts run on pure instinct. The lands were lush with food and water, and the pride who claimed it were lazy and content. Ahadi found the pride, and easily over threw the king, only a simple instinctual lion. Ahadi took a mate, Uru, started his pride. The magic infused in Ahadi spread throughout his pride members, awakening lions capable of emotion and wit. But none more so than his heirs.
Mufasa and Scar weren’t quiet as large as their father, nor did they gain his strength, but both more capable of emotions than any other in the pride. Mufasa gained the ability of is father’s courage and fairness, while Scar gained the ability of envy and cunningness.
Ahadi was the first of the Pridelanders able to feel human emotions, and his descendants carried on his legacy.
