actually if people would be interested I could work up some reviews on some of the fucking pens I use because christ knows I got enough that I could make this a thing. I know people like Ben Templesmith are (as far as I’m aware) more geared towards just using whatever they can grab, but it’s also really nice to know where to look and what pens might give you that little extra precision or a little more reliability when you’re looking around.

see, I have sharpies, dont get me wrong. But ink fills definitely dont have the sharpie dry/draw spots that markers make that can end up fucking up a good fill.

I’ve got like a 15 dollar kuretake pen I use mostly for that kinda stuff but I feel like its still kind of an abuse. Maybe I just need to snag another pentel brush pen because those things are usually like 10 bucks and retain ink good.

Or alternatively I do a fuckin shopping spree on jet pens and just go down the list of fatass brush pens...
