The renowned vworp-vworp sound still echoing across the fields, XI stepped out upon the hill and surveyed the land’s beauty. He had promised his husband he would see about coaxing in a new animal for the menagerie after he had been to visit a queen. Well, probably a queen. Maybe not yet. What year did we land? Oh, never mind.
He had picked a good place to park. There she was across the field, out riding on her mare under a cloudless sky.
The Doctor waved both arms emphatically, though he was sure the blue box was visible enough. “Helloooooo Sigyn!”

Tears instantly welled up in her eyes. She’d long lost her wild mare to Ragnarok. Now, the realm of Vanaheim was cutoff from her travels and there–oh, how she hoped–her wild mare was running free. Hava could never be tamed.
The field of horses reminded her of how she’s found Hava thousands of years ago. She drew in a breath, glancing over her shoulder at her husband. His kind eyes made her heart soar. “My husband knows me well,” she smiled through her tears. She leaned back enough to steal a tender kiss. “Thank you… I love them all.”
Indeed, it would be difficult to chose her new mount, and none could replace the bond she had with Hava. But it was long past time for her to move on. “Are they wild?” she asked looking out at them as they grazed. “In Vanaheim I had to challenge Hava to mount her, are these the same?”
Loki brought a hand to rest at her hip and pressed a further kiss to her cheek. “I’m afraid there are no truly wild horses on Midgard save across the ocean. This is more of a promise until we have a more permanent path back to Vanaheim. We can arrange for Thor to take us there so you may reunite with Hava. On Earth at least, these are deemed the finest stock in Norway. I should think you need only speak to one and it will defer to you.”
Ducks!
One sunny day in 2019, in St James's Park, London, a gentleman clad in black and grey was on his way to a pond to feed some ducks. When you work on a long-running soap opera (tempting people into making that sort of rubbish, that is), you crave a break in the park.
He heard something. Of the eerie kind. He thought he was getting a visitation from someone of the Dark Council, that’s how odd it was. God’s creation around him crackled like it was electric, and the air spat out a woman. A wildly beautiful woman that walked straight into him.
He stepped back to regain his balance and took hold of the woman’s shoulders to keep her from falling.
“Whuh-- em-- watch your step, young lady!”

*Throws paper airplane at Loki*
The paper plane was expertly caught, gripped between his fingers as he turned around to face his wife.
“You called, my love?”
He was supposed to be joining their sons for Operation Get Mother Flowers, but it looked like he was going to be a little late.
Good, Better, Best.

The nerves that had had her shaking had for the moment eased into laughter. Claire had not meant for the words to come from herself, not yet at least. It seemed to be her rambling practicing had spilled out.
Practice for words she had never thought she would be the one to say. But a very lonely trip back to her father's to stay with him after a nasty fall left him needing a pair of helping hands around the house while his hip healed. Claire had realized how much the blonde meant to her and on the last day of her trip had asked if she could bring back an important piece of jewelry stashed away in her old room with her.
Coming up behind her girlfriend her arms wrapped around her waist and head rested on her shoulder. Brown eyes glancing up at her from under her bangs. "Hmmm, now you know that isn't true. I hate those pink glasses," she murmured.

“My darling-” His voice caught in his throat as he watched his father asleep in his bed; once more having fallen into the Odinsleep. It wasn’t a sight he was unused to, but it never got easier to see his father in such a vulnerable state. “You needn’t have come.” They’d only recently married, and he would understand if something like this was too much for her. “Thor will be back soon, mother sent Lady Sif to fetch him from Alfheim last night, he’s expected any moment now.”

The Professor stepped out of her TARDIS and fell to the ground. She had been in a lot. The last thing that she remembered was that she was originally a he. A while back, he was in another realm. He fought beings called White Walkers, and he barely had won. But he did. He had managed to fight off his own regeneration to say goodbye to his friends that he had made in Westeros, before leaving aboard the TARDIS when it happened. Abruptly landing when he finished regenerating, the Professor stepped out of the brown box and looked around at the surrounding area, before she passed out.
