Meet my niece, Violet. As you can can tell from swiping... she is full of spunk, laughter and a lil drama now & then. She loves her dog, music 🎶, school and @itsjojosiwa 💐🐩 💆🏻♀️👸🏻. She was feeling “ill” off & on since Spring Break- honestly it sounded like MONO or a bug to me. After several test- she was diagnosed Monday with T cell lymphoblastic leukemia. I’m smart enough to know that I do not have the right words, magic or reassurance to make her mom and dad feel any better. All I can do is attempt to be supportive & positive. I can ask others though to skip Starbucks for a day and donate the $4.86 to help fund her medical treatments. Medical bills should NOT be an additional stressor to a family when they are in a battle for a life. If you peep the pix- you can see that Violet still had a smile yesterday when they placed a picc line in for treatments. You can also see that her mom- just reached her 5 year remission in March from breast cancer. Her mom, Audra has been working on her health & wellness this past year - having to battle for your life then to know what your child is about to go thru is unimaginable. Please keep Audra, Mike & Violet in your positive thoughts. It’s going to be a long, tough journey. Her mom knows too well from experience. So please - send #positivevibes & share her journey- and if you can donate - please do- #cancersucks #victory #victory4violet #findacure gofund.me/a-victory-for-violet #gofundme (at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital) https://www.instagram.com/lapbandindiana/p/BwX7qRlhVn2/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=oo2sus19tilz
