            A  blush,  as  well  as  a  grin,   spreads  across  her             cheeks,  turning  her  face  bright  red.  It’s  a  good              kind of  blush,  the type where  you’re warm  inside,              and Vic can’t help but glance at the ground, almost              shyly.  When she looks  up again,  there’s almost  a              mischievous glint in her eyes.                          “And how just how long did that take you, Teddy Lupin?”

  "Oh, you know...ages." he replied, and it felt like something new    & shinny had just fallen into his lap, something different and    something   AMAZING—    something that made him catch his    breath, because they had said it before.  Spoken  the words    as friends, as reassurance and as sarcasm, but never like this.    Not the way they rolled off his tongue now...

         He managed to speak calmly enough, not in spite of nervousness,          but  IN PLACE  of, because he realized, much to his own surprise,          that the feeling wasn't anything new. Loving Victoire was as natural          as breathing, and he'd never want to change that.

                                  He just wanted to smile softly,                                   so  he  did.  And that  was all.

             "— BUT, in my own defense, I'm pretty sure I spent half the time                    in denial because were too wonderful  for reality, so if you                    want  to  look at it that way, you're  more to  blame then my                    nonexistent punctuality.
