deja vu }{ victoria & amber
Amber's bartending job had been something extremely difficult to begin. She hadn't been used to the independence--doing something for herself for once--and the stress weirded her out at moments. For the last past nights, a beautiful woman would come to the bar. She wondered how out of all the people, this woman would stand out the most. AJ pondered about how this tall, dark-haired woman looked. Her features were so light and warm that it would always brighten her mood even when stressed. Not only did her looks brighten her mood, but the small talk did as well. There was always small talk in the bar, but this customer was different. She was different than any other regulars in the bar.
A smile stretched on AJ's lips as she made her way to the living room. She had just gotten up from her last night's shift. She glanced at the clock--only 9am. How come she couldn't sleep in? One of the reasons could be that she was up early to take care of siblings that she had no time to sleep in. Since it was so early she decided against a bowl of cereal for it would mess up her stomach. She was still tired anyway and tried rubbing the sleep from her eyes. The house was still like every other moment she was inside and she sat down on the couch.
Taking a deep breath, she decided to turn on the television. Maybe someone else would wake up and come keep her company. Another smile stretched on her lips as she remembered the stranger from her work. She wished that she could meet her outside of her job somehow in some shape or form. Even if it was at a coffee shop for two seconds, AJ would be happy with it. She played with the material on her pajamas as she absentmindedly watched the show playing, her thoughts buzzing around in her head.
