Parrot is Back with the Anafi

At US$700 a pop, the drone is a direct competitor to the Mavic Air with 4K video. It even promises a 25 min flight time with a combination of stabilised gimbal and video using a Sony sensor. 

There is still one catch though, we haven’t any idea when it will be released. 

Now we all know that France, the birthplace of Parrot, is one of the most draconian places to fly a drone. There is no way you can test it unless you go to the French alps in Summer. I’d reckon Parrot would have to do a lot of testing elsewhere in Eastern Europe where the laws are a little less stingy and more fun.
