Regarding the lack of activity with the game

There's been a substantial lack of activity for the game recently—in fact, there's only been one commit in the last fortnight, and it didn't even do what it was supposed to.

While this has partly been due to the fact that that particular commit was a bit large and partly due to a lot of procrastination, I think that the main thing that's been causing this is the fact that real life has been getting in the way.

Unreal, a game where you don't need any cinematics or proper voice actors to immerse you in a beautiful world.

It came out at the PERFECT time, in 1998, where 3d environements were cramped buildings and closed areas. The moment you get out of the wrecked ship for the first time, you are not aware of the adventure you are getting into. The song above is the one played when you are seeing the sky for the first time in the game.

On the good side, other Unreal games kept this wonderful world and expanded it with new races and backstories... Sorta... Sadly, Unreal was the first and the last "Adventure Shooter" of the franchise, all the others are arena shooters.
