#video ripping

So... since I can’t find the OVAs in a decent quality (there’s some download links for 1080p and 720p, but they still look awful lmao). I was like “FINE, I’LL DO IT MYSELF”. So here I am ripping my blu-ray discs 😂

The thing is that I’m using Handbrake for transcoding this huge 20GB file into a smaller one, but it’s taking too long (it says it’ll take 12 hours!). So, I’ve been wondering if anyone on here knows a better way to do it? or is just my pc that’s too old?? lmao. I want to keep the quality (like the one in that pic), so I’m not sure if I should just... wait those 12 hours 😅

People who make vids! Where/how do you get your clips? Do you download the movies/TV shows? If so, from where? Do you rip them to your hard drive? If so, what program do you use? I did a system restore in order to get my DVD drive working again, had to reinstall bitRipper, but for some reason bitRipper is now freezing up every time I click “settings” (so I can unselect “copy audio”) and even when I just skip that and go straight to “start rip”. 

I’m getting very frustrated! Any suggestions? Anyone?

Heads up to anyone who uses vidtomp3.com

I believe the site has malware sticking to it’s downloads. The song I was attempting to rip was twice the size a normal song file was.

So be safe and find a different converter.
