Idea!

I really want to make something different that isn’t really upbeat and happy. I want to try and make something that will sync up but with a more emotional, slower song.

One idea I had was to do it on a rainy day and in black and white. I think this will look quite thought-provoking if I use the right song. I’m really happy with this idea because I think water droplets can look really pretty and I can use items like umbrellas and splashes from feet in puddles as the visuals to match the music.

I was thinking I could do some shots in slow motion to make it more atmospheric and it would be a nice way of syncing up the sound without obvious changes. I could just show a slow motion picture of someone turning around maybe or laughing whenever there’s a slow part.

One problem I would have with it being a rainy day is that you can’t see rain on camera and so I could add it in later so it is more obvious.

Me trying to be artsy and stuff. This video idea came to be because classes for suspended for the day and me and my service mates were currently awaiting for the official announcement from the school. So, I stuck my head out of our service and bam, timelapse hahaha

Need Drawing Prompts

Hey peeps!  So I’m thinking of trying out a new type of video content that I’ve been pondering for a while. But I need YOUR drawing prompts to do so. :)  HOWEVER, they can’t be simple things like “Draw a dog” or “Draw my OC”. No, I want legitimate PROMPTS. Kind of like story/writing prompts but with different details.  Really anything you guys can think of; From knock off show/video game characters (i.e. Draw a new type of Pokemon, Remake the Lion King cast, etc.) to something more along the lines of a story/advice (i.e. Bob is going on a date- what should he wear?, How should I propose to my girlfriend?, etc.) or even something like Character Rejects (i.e. Rejected characters from [insert show title here], etc.)  OR, my personal favorite: Describe This Person/Character (i.e. “Do you know Jacksepticeye? He looks like this! [Insert description here]) Note: this does not have to be an accurate/real description. 

Really anything you guys can think of that is NOT inappropriate. Then I’ll draw it, commentate over it, come up with fun stories for it, etc. on my YouTube channel. It’d just be a way to create and hang out with you guys in a more personal manner. ^_^  Any prompt I pick will be featured at the beginning of the video, so you will get credit for the idea overall- and your username will be featured as well (unless you want to be anonymous.)  Thanks guys!  INSPIRATION FOR THIS IDEA: The Drawfee Channel (youtube), Game Grumps

Homework Assignment #11

My video idea is centered around a table set for dinner. The focus would be on the setting of the table and the emphasis of time passing by. Essentially the plot behind the short video would be someone planning a date and then their significant other not showing up. The time being passed would be represented by the burning of a candle. The video would start out very bright and optimistic but by the end the shot would be more shadowed. The final shot would be the person blowing out the candle to signal that it is “the end” of the video. As far as video elements I am still in the process of figuring them out. My main audio will be the ticking of a clock to play on the idea of passing time.
