Truths of life # 3. If you don't plant the seed, it will never grow.Ā
Sometimes we are told that things will come, or time will tell, and that you might miss something if you are looking too hard for it. Expressions and impressions, all the things people can tell us about time healing all wounds, about going with the flow, sometimes make no sense.Ā
Nature is our greatest pleasure, it's the greatest achievements there has been and that we can admire and learn from. And nature has a way of making things happen, when there's a seed, there could be a bulb and a flower and then a fruit. If there is no seed, and no way for it to get to the ground, to be caressed by the sun and be hugged by the water, nothing will grow.Ā
So today I planted a daffodil. I wanted just one flower and picked it from the ground, only to be gifted with the roots and the seed beneath what we can see.Ā Speaking in metaphors I was given more that I thought I wanted, and I decided to make the most of it. You know what they say: If life gives you lemons, make lemonade... Then again, what I say, is that āTHEYā, whoever they are, are wrong about things just happening, you got to give it your best shot every time, every day. You have to be gentle with every word, you have to take care of the soil, and maybe, maybe one day, if you really want it and try hard enough, you might get a field of flowers to rest on.
Until then, just plant seeds wherever you can...Ā
