This is really gonna be the first genuine post about my DOTU Reboot AU huh 

Calling it ‘Voltron: Intergalactic Defender of the Universe’ because I’m creative ;;)) 

I don’t know how the entire storyline will pan out (I’m but a feeble artist.. I can’t write for shit), so expect a dozen random drawings related to this AU !

this is absolutely amazing! such a clever idea and amazing art! i was wondering if allura’s planet still got destroyed in the reboot? and where the castle of lions is located, or if it could fly 😁 this content is awesome and i love it thanks for sharing!

In this AU, Arus is still intact but so very destroyed and different from the desert oasis it was known as in their star system.

It would make sense to totally destroy it like (Altea in vld), but Zarkon is a truly sadistic shit and ended up completely invading it and captured most Arusians into specific prison outposts around the planet like livestock, leaving tons of destroyed debris and nuclear weapons to serve as an example to other planets that dared oppose him.

It's been a few decades before Allura and Coran were freed by team Voltron since they've seen the surface of their planet.

The castle of lions (AKA. Fortress Gradham) was constructed in an abandoned canyon, and was built as a secondary bunker/ lion hangar just before Alfor scattered each of Voltron's parts.

Fun fact, Arus is 40% water, filled with lovecraftian marine life that even Zarkon didn't dare acknowledge to destroy. Guess which pilot finds their lion there!
