i read a fic with a crossroads demon-esque figure, and this idea of seeing each of the batkids getting tempted, essentially, popped into my head so i had to write it

Based on your blog I assume you're a lovely person with a lot of different interests and some great hockey thoughts, who has a pretty stressful job and totally kicks ass at it. Based on actually talking to you I can absolutely confirm this ;)

I’d say DC Comics and Final Fantasy XV :)

Funnily enough, I only got into Final Fantasy XV this year after watching a Let’s Play this year. I got into DC comics back then when Young Justice was still airing (and I hear it’s coming back for a third season!), but I just recently got back into it over the off-season haha.

I wanted to try to write something this summer but my workload was just so heavy this year! (I know, excuses, excuses XD) It’s just that it legitimately takes me months to string together a coherent and logical story and then I give up on fic ideas so easily OTL

Knowing that you’re interested in this plot bunny gives me a better idea of what people like though, so thank you! :P

I just thought this sort of AU has some sort of charming mystery to it because they don’t start “communicating” until much later in their “relationship.” But by that time, they already sort of know each other. Kind of like pen pals I guess :P

I also like to think that Freddie notices Connor’s cleaning habits and feels comforted when he sees these things. Like maybe Connor likes to organize the magazines in chronological order on Freddie’s coffee table and when Freddie comes home seeing the magazines all neat and orderly, he feels taken care of, like Connor’s personally given him a visit and checked up on him, even though he wasn’t physically at the apartment when Connor came over.

That sounds like a great idea! This way you can find cheerleaders who support you in actually writing the fic (if that's what you want), or maybe others will be inspired to write them!

My initial thought was to post up prompts so that other people could use them, but you bring up a good point. If I share prompts I could bounce ideas off others and try to write something myself :)

THANKS for documenting that jo. I’m glad you appreciate my ‘edit’, it clearly took hours of painstaking work.
