When you arrive to Vienna, you'll soon find out that this city has basically everything. Beautiful history, wonderful sights, countless museums, delicious coffee and desserts. City which is surrounded by vineyards and woods. City where the people are not the nicest ones. City where you use "may God bless you" as greeting. City auf dem schönen blauen Donau.
You don't need to be born here, to live here your whole life and still, soon you're gonna feel here at home. Even the grumpy Vienneses will find their way into your heart. And maybe, just maybe you'll catch yourself saying Grüß Gott (after sabotaging this greeting for your whole life).
Ah you wonderful city, you amazing and colorful Vienna. On Monday everything changed. On Monday we all holded our breath... and then... then something quite unbelievable happened. The grumpy Vienneses droped their grumpiness as if it hadn't ever existed. Strange people opened their houses for other strangers, taxi drivers drove for free. Austrian philharmonic orchestra played for hours. A local hero threw a vase on the terrorists. Another one screamed "schleich di, du oaschloch".
Just like that, Vienna is full of love and kindness.
...do you already love it? I know you do. We all do ❤️
