I think it would be a litkeeeeee more interesting to explore the idea of the members who were drafted
If we’re going the route of everyone lives/nothing happened au, then that means the draft would have taken the following:
Dally-November 9
Johnny-March 1
Darry-January 5
Pony-July 22
By 1969, Pony would be 19, Darry would be 24, Dally would be 22 (if he is actually 18 in 1965, please correct me if not), and Johnny would be 20. If my math is correct and lines up with history correctly, that is.
I would like to add that this is just me talking WITHOUT the inclusion of the possible exemptions they would have received, i haven’t (admittedly) looked into what exemptions they might’ve received. I know people with extensive criminal records were highly likely to be exempted (that was then, this is now helped enlightening me on that), but again, im mostly just blabbing about this cause i wonder the angst potential that comes with this lottery.
