The versatile Actor Shashi Kapoor who was hospitalized for a chest infection, has been discharged from the hospital. “Shashi ji had recovered completely from his ailment and thus we discharged him on Friday. He will now be resting at home,” Dr Ram Narain, Executive Director of the hospital said. Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor has been discharged and is really excited to be back home, his son Kunal Kapoor said.

He Was hospitalized on September 21 to the ICU (intensive care unit) at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to chest infection. He was presented with the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010 and has won three National Film awards for his unmatched contribution to Bollywood. He has done over 160 Films in his entire Career.

Daawat-e-Ishq continued to remain steady on its first Wednesday. The film collected only 1.85 crores on its sixth day. It now stands with a total collection of 19.50 crores at the domestic box office. Dawaat E ishq fell on Monday by around 50% from Friday which is not a good trend from a low opening day but it has a free second week and can still do decent numbers.The movie will cross 20 crores easily at domestic box office .The film stars Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur who have a good fan following, yet the film has not quite worked in their favor.Lets have a look at the collections for the film :
