Have you played the new god of war?? The Norse setting is awesome! I would like to know your thoughts on that since it portrays a very different yet similar world to atov. (not asking for atov going there or anithibg just wondering)

I have not.  It’s not my usual genre, and I haven’t played the earlier games in the series.

What about Astrid being a fellow jedi who is suspicios or uncorftable with hiccup being trained given his age or whatever other reason ?? I think it suits her morals, institucionalism and natural suspiciousness

I’m playing around with the idea of her being force sensitive, but I’m not sure if (timeline wise) it’ll work out for her to be a full fledged (or even partly fledged) Jedi. She’s the same age as Hiccup and the Jedi were “supposedly” eradicated shortly after she was born. I’m definitely leaning towards her being skeptical of Hiccup training as Jedi, although for different reasons. Mainly because at first she just thinks its mumbo jumbo and he’s (as usual) wasting valuable time. She quickly realizes, however, that it’s a good thing for him to explore in himself.

Also a very good idea… but I’m still leaning towards her having grown up in the Resistance. It works well with the story I’ve begun planning, and her having been part of Drago’s army/empire/order/etc would counteract and distract from another character’s development. But it is a cool idea :)

Hi! I just finished Hitchups and with out a hitch for the 3° time. I love it, its the best fanfic ever. So I was wondering, since without a hitch have years innactive, if you could tell us if hiksti dies in that alley and if he finds tannlus in the other side. Im really curious of how Stoiks takes Astrid usurping the Chief stall. If is not a problem, please?

As for Hiksti... he doesn’t die in the ally. He dies out in the open. I really should write the second half of that death scene. I can tell you that he experiences a rapid sensation of every death he ever encountered in his life just before true death takes him.

I have actually written more on tumblr that could go into Wtihout a Hitch. **Here’s a compilation of all Hitchups-au stories in time order.** The last ones (post Ragnarök/post Death) should cover some of your curiosities :)

As for Stoick and Astrid - he’s a bit torn. Snotlout grew up and Stoick spent so much time grooming him... but Astrid has also proven herself, and a part of Stoick is rooting for her, and she reminds him so much of his son... she and Fishlegs were two of the younger generation to really step up when the war escalated, they’re two of the closest existing Berkians to Hiccup, and Astrid has taken on a lot of newer pro-dragon ideas that could really benefit Berk’s future.

He doesn’t like the unrest that’s started in Berk, but he’s also questioning himself if it’s better to stick to tradition or take another step down a new path.

Do you think cheesecup would like the idea of going cheese-tripping? Like doing this really bothersome money short trip around europe or usa tasting chesses?

So I like this idea so much I decided I needed to make fanart for it (horrible fanart, which is my specialty) and I googled ‘man eating cheese in exotic place’, ‘man eating cheese’ and ‘people eating cheese’ hoping to find some dapper young gent eating brie in the south of France I could badly paste Hiccup’s face onto.  

But all of those searching have really weird results, man.  

So instead I drew this.  Contrary to popular belief, Hiccup was not hoping to find some timberjacks in the woods.  He was really looking for a cheese plate.  

Also, I didn’t know cheese tripping was a thing, and it sounds like what I’d want to do with my life.
