This past weekend, our group was invited to a traditional coffee ceremony, where our lovely host prepared aromatic, locally grown coffee as we laughed, danced and bonded with one another. Daily coffee ceremonies are of great social and cultural significance in Ethiopia, as they encourage fellowship by offering a time and space for people to gather to give blessings, tell stories and discuss ideas.
